Christmas Parade

Speaking of traditions (see my last post), there is always an annual Christmas parade held downtown. We didn't go last year but when we went two years ago, Nicholas loved it (click here to see that post). We met up with several of our friends to watch the parade and the kids loved seeing all the cars, fire trucks, marching bands, and, of course, Santa. They also loved how almost every group that passed threw out candy canes. Afterward, they had a small holiday market by the water, complete with a bounce house....who could resist the temptation? The big guys bounced and the daddies took the toddlers down the inflatable slide. The kids had a great time and it was a nice way to spend the morning.
