Christmas Parade

We took Nicholas down to watch the annual Christmas parade on Saturday morning. We met up with our friends, Tim and Julie, along with their daughter, Aislyn. It was VERY cold downtown, yet Nicholas didn't seem to mind. He refused to keep his hat on for very long. :-) He saw a fire truck, a few marching bands, and received A LOT of candy canes from parade participants. Afterwards, we walked through a holiday market, and then to the bottom of First Street, where they had a patch of fake snow. Nicholas didn't quite know what to make of it. Lastly, we took Nicholas to meet his counterpart...St. Nick! He actually tolerated Santa very well. He was hesitant at first, but he actually sat on his lap for a picture.
