Nicholas at 6 months

The bug is officially half a year old! So much has changed since January 11th. The colicky baby who kept us up many a night has transformed into a lovable little boy with quite the personality. Nicholas is beginning to do so many new things, such as sitting up unsupported, holding his upper body up while on his stomach, sitting in high chairs and shopping carts, playing with toys and banging his hands and feet. He is quite the flirt and will smile at just about anyone. And, in true boy fashion, he loves to be noisy!
We just had our 6 month well baby checkup. He received his shots and he didn't even cry...he must take after his mommy. ;-) He is weighing in at 21 lbs. 9 oz. and is 28 3/4 inches tall. He's 97th percentile for height and 95th percentile for weight. You wouldn't know it, but his doctor says he's actually quite lean. Go figure! No teeth yet...Dr. Martin thinks he'll be on the later side (8 months or older...which is fine by me!). Our next adventure...rice cereal. We've been given the go ahead...pics to come!
I can sit up!

Hi,

He looks great sitting up! He is becoming a real little charmer. We had so much fun with him in New York, a good little traveler.
