July 1st--New Haven, CT

We headed back to NYC today, but decided to stop off in New Haven on the way back. Our first stop was at Fort Nathan Hale, where we saw a great view of the water. Next was Yale. As we walked towards the university, we passed down an unusual street. People were stopping in front of stores and taking pictures like crazy. We didn't know what was going on. It turned out that the street was made to look as if it were from the 1950s. They were using Yale as the setting for the new Indiana Jones movie. Pretty neat. We walked through Yale and then to its cemetery, where we saw Eli Whitney's tomb. Our last stop was to Little Italy and Pepe's Pizzeria, an old school pizzeria. The pizza was pretty darn good...by the time we left there was a huge line down the street to get in (Side note: I found out the Ellen was at Pepe's almost the same time we were...strange coincidence). We then drove back to NYC and relaxed the rest of the day. Nicholas spent much of the day sleeping, as we were strolling and driving a lot.
