Unfortunately, the 4th ended up being a rainy day. We had planned to have a picnic in Central Park, but decided against it. Jeff, Jennifer, Mark, and I went to the Whitney Museum (which was a little disappointing) and then hung out at home. We had an indoor picnic that evening with two of Joan and Patrick's friends. It ended up being a nice day, even if it did rain. And no, Nicholas didn't stay up to watch fireworks...maybe next year!
