Jaundice

Lexi came home from the hospital with jaundice. From when we came home on Thursday afternoon, until Sunday morning, we were back and forth from the hospital for heel sticks. Her bilirubin levels were increasing until Sunday morning, so they were monitoring her closely. She was prescribed a "bili blanket", a phototherapy belt that emits blue light. This was supposed to help her body get rid of the bilirubin. As of Monday, she seems to be doing better, although her face is still yellow.
