First Week Home

Well, we survived the first week home with minimal damages! ;-)

Alexis is doing better with the jaundice. We still need to get her back to her birth weight, but otherwise she's doing well. Nursing has become a bit of a challenge. We had to supplement with bottles due to the jaundice and this has caused a bit of confusion for her. We are getting her used to doing both now and she's improving with the nursing. Hopefully she'll be able to nurse at every feeding soon. Mommy's not a quitter, so we'll keep at it! Nicholas loves to interact with his sister. He's VERY affectionate, so we have to keep a close eye on him. He's become a bit obstinate, but it's hard to fault him with all of the changes that have occurred. All in all, we're enjoying our two kids immensely, as well as the time we all have together while Jeff's on paternity leave.

Early morning risers...poor Jeff...this was the scene when I came downstairs yesterday morning

Miss Alexis...this is pretty much all she does right now

VIDEO: Nicholas wanted me to "make a movie" of him...he's being very silly while interacting with his sister
