A Rainy Day in Sacramento

The kids and myself headed up to Sacramento for the day to spend some time with my grandparents (Bom-Bom and Big Baba) and my youngest cousin, Aaron. Jeff was visiting his brother in Portland for the weekend.

We went to the Space Discovery Museum and the kids absolutely LOVED it! It was completely hands on. Lexi loved dressing up like an astronaut and preparing "food" in the astronaut "kitchen". Nicholas loved exploring the exhibits with Aaron, as well as watching a planetarium show with Bom-Bom and Big Baba.

After almost 3 hours of enjoying the museum we drove to Roseville and met up with Aunt Jen, Uncle Mike, and Aaron's brother, Ben. We had dinner at Skipolini's and then the kids and I drove home as the storm rolled in.

We all had a great time visiting with our family and look forward to spending more time together over Thanksgiving!
