Amusing Days

Well look at that...it's only been 4 days since my last post! I'm doing better than I thought I would!

In the past 2 weeks we've been to two different amusement parks. The day after Yom Kippur we headed out to Six Flags. Since my Aunt Jen's family stayed the night in Benicia, we thought it would be fun to go with them the following morning. Nicholas loved going on the rides with my cousin Aaron. I think, in Nicholas' mind, Aaron is only slightly older (in reality, Aaron is 10...almost 7 years older!). Nicholas doesn't care and just adores Aaron. Luckily, Aaron is a sweetheart and so patiently and willingly plays with Nicholas. Nicholas had a blast going on as many rides as he could with Aaron. My dad also came along, which was double the fun for N.

This past week, a few of my mom's club friends and I packed up and headed to Pixieland in Concord. Nicholas loves Pixieland and it's great because it's small and very close. You can easily spend an hour there and not feel like the whole day has been eaten up. To my surprise, none of my friends had ever been there, so it was great to introduce them to a new treat in the East Bay! The kids had a blast riding together and we topped it off with lunch back at our friend Kacy's house.

Nicholas and Aaron

Lexi is loving rides now...she's quite fearless!

Daddy scrunched in the submarine so Lexi could ride

Baba took Lexi up in these balloons that spin around high in the air

The highlight for Nicholas was going on this enormous boat ride. It is basically one giant drop that gets everyone soaked. All three guys were drenched!

Lexi was so happy on the carousel at Pixieland. She kept waving at everyone walking by.

She dug the train ride too!

Nicholas, Mason, and Merrick tackled the tea cups

Lexi and her main squeeze, Collin, enjoyed a leisurely boat ride
