Arnold

Right after we returned from our Carmel vacation on Sunday, we took off for Arnold, CA (the Sierra Foothills and Gold Country) that next day. Jeff couldn't take anymore time off from work, so it was just the kids and myself, along with my grandparents, my parents, and my Aunt Jen and cousin Ben. We did many fun things on our trip, including hiking the Big Trees State Park (with the massive sequoias), touring Columbia (an old gold mining town), and swimming at the pool and lake. It was very not in Arnold, but we found ways to beat the heat. Nicholas especially had a good time with all of the water activities. We may have a little fish on our hands!
