Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
Towards the end of our trip, we drove about 45 minutes north of Carmel to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. As the name says, it's an old school boardwalk, complete with rides, carnival style games, and deliciously unhealthy food. :) Nicholas had been there twice the year before, but didn't seem to have many memories. Nicholas, Hailey and Matthew enjoyed all the rides, but Nicholas especially enjoyed going on the log ride with Jeff. This was his first big kid ride, and he enjoyed getting wet. He kept walking around saying, "Splash!"
