Lexi at 3 months

What did we do to deserve such a good baby? Lexi has just been an awesome little one so far.

She's now 3 1/2 months old. In the past 2 weeks she's really started to become more of an infant than a newborn. She holds her head up pretty well right now and is able to sit in the bumbo seat (see the picture below if you're not sure what that is), as well as face outwards in the baby bjorn. She's such a smiley little one and has found her voice. She loves to carry on a "conversation" with me first thing in the morning...so cute. She's also found her hands and loves to clasp them together and bring them into her mouth. She's a champion sleeper as well. She has had several nights of "sleeping through the night", which I count as 8ish in the evening to about 6 in the morning...not bad at all. Although she has gone that long, it's still not consistent. She does get up and nurses quickly though and almost always goes right back to sleep...we really can't complain.

Nicholas continues to be enamored with Lexi. Now that she's interacting more, he thinks she's old enough to play, but we still have to remind him that she's too little. He definitely has to be watched around Lexi, as the uncoordinated movements of a 2 year old could spell disaster for poor little Lexi. Nicholas is very loving though and still loves to kiss his sister and bring Lexi her dolly and lamby (her two lovies that have blankets attached to them).

Here are some pictures of Lexi over the past few weeks.
