Lexie's Delivery Date

One of the beauties about having a C-section is knowing exactly when the baby will be coming (well...as exactly as you're going to get). I went for a check-up today and the doctor and I discussed due dates. She wants me to deliver at 37 weeks, assuming that Lexie's lungs are mature enough. So, I'll go to the perinatologist on April 16th for a fetal lung amnio (I cringe at the thought of the big needle!). Assuming everything looks good, I'm scheduled to deliver on Friday, April 17th. If the lungs aren't mature enough, then we'll have to wait longer. On the flip side, if I end up having pre-eclamptic symptoms again (or some other complication), she'll be delivered earlier. So exciting!
