Big Sur

On the first day of our Carmel trip, we took a hike in Big Sur. What was surprising about the hike was the steep incline we went up...we weren't expecting it to be as challenging with the little ones as we expected. The daddies, Jeff and Mark, had to take turns hoisting children on their shoulders, as the little ones had some difficulties keeping up. I wore Lexi in the bjorn and did a pretty good job keeping up (if I do say so myself). Nicholas really liked the experience and asked to hiking again the next day. We'll have to find some local spots in the Bay Area.
