3rd of July

Jeff and the kids headed home from Los Angeles in time for us to head into downtown Benicia to watch the annual Torchlight Parade.  You've probably seen me mention the parade in past years, but it's a family tradition.  Originally Nicholas wanted to be in the parade with the Mom's Club, but he had a change of heart once we got down to First Street.  That was fine with me...it's nice to be a viewer rather than a participant sometimes.  Here are some shots of the festivities!

All ready to roll in their patriotic apparel

Nicholas loves to pick up Lexi...I think she likes it too!

What's a parade without some cotton candy?

Strike a pose

They are so cute!

Dad was in the parade with the Coldwell Banker kazoo band

We had to try out a custom ice cream sammie from Sift Bakery

Big brother is good to his sister

Baba came out of the parade with big horns for each kid

How fun! I always loved Benicia's festivities! Your kids sure are growing so fast!
