Lemon Loaf Cake
Nicholas decided that we should bake. So I pulled out my Julia Child cookbook, Baking with Julia, and let Nicholas browse a few pages. He choose the lemon loaf pound cake. Easy enough for a novice baker like myself. Nicholas really wanted to be involved. He pulled out his step stool, requested his apron I made him, and got straight to work. He was a great helper and has enjoyed the fruits of his labor!
