Disneyland

Since we were already in the LA area, we decided to take Nicholas and Lexi to Disneyland for the rest of the weekend. We disembarked from the ship around 9ish Saturday morning and headed straight for Anaheim. The forecast was spotty in SoCal that day...patches of rain off and on. It was chilly and wet most of the day, but it actually made for very quick lines. We did so many rides that day, which was great, as the following day was a zoo. It seems that the locals came out full force on Sunday, as it was beautiful outside. It was much harder to get on the rides, so I'm glad that we took full advantage of the smaller crowds on the rainy day.

Nicholas had gone to Disneyland for the first time last September, and what a difference 6 months makes! Back in September Nicholas was very tentative of the rides...many of them were too scary for him. This time, it was like having a totally different child. Nicholas went on Splash Mountain, Star Tours, Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and many others. In fact, Haunted Mansion was his favorite...we did that ride at least 3 or 4 times. I was sure he'd find it scary, but he find it mostly amusing...he giggled throughout much of the ride, especially at the ghosts that follow you home! :)

I always love going to Disneyland and it's so fun to see it through Nicholas' eyes. Our pictures from Disneyland are part of the Mexican cruise pictures. You can see the pictures by visiting the link on the post before this.
