California Academy of Sciences

Our monthly outing with the Frigard ladies (Kendra, Ava-almost 3, and Aneka-1) took us all the way to San Francisco. We took the opportunity on the beautifully clear Bay Area day to drive the long way and go across the Golden Gate bridge. Nicholas is fascinated with the Golden Gate bridge and was quite thrilled to be going across it. It was an amazingly clear day in the city, so the drive through Golden Gate Park was beautiful as well. Nicholas and Ava had a ton of fun looking at the sharks, albino alligator, fish, and the rain forest exhibit. We even had lunch in their "gourmet" cafeteria...if you ever go you must try it out! We love our outings with the Frigards...a special treat to look forward to every month!

First stop...checking out the sharks and stingrays

A passive observer...only because she's strapped into a stroller!

Let's get another good look at the sharks (side note...a few seconds after this picture was taken I lifted Nicholas up to get a better look at the sharks and my sunglasses fell over the railing into the tank! Thankfully, no sharks were hurt and my sunglasses were fished out and did not become shark bait!)
