The not so lazy days of summer!

June has been a busy month! With school ending the first week, Nicholas and I have had lots of quality time together. We went to the Sunset Magazine open house in Palo Alto with Nana and Grandpa (or bpa-bpa as Nicholas has started calling him). During that next week we got to spend some time with Mommy's former co-worker, Kendra, and her 13 month old daughter, Ava. We had a nice lunch at Kinder's and then took a stroll to the pier. The following weekend we spent Father's Day in Roseville with the entire Herman clan (minus Auntie Rachel). Nicholas thoroughly enjoyed swimming in Aunt Jen's pool. Last week Grandpa, Auntie Becca, and I took Nicholas down to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. He had an absolute blast! He loved all the kiddie rides and even went on a kids rollercoaster. He also got to dip his feet into the chilly Pacific Ocean. Overall, Nicholas is having a great time this summer...as is Mommy!
