Someone's a Very Important Person

This week Nicholas is the VIP at school. He takes this job very seriously and likes to tell any adult who is willing to listen that he IS the official VIP for the entire WEEK! Don't forget that, people. The VIP at school gets to do cool things like be at the front of the line, sit at the front of the room with the teacher during story time, and ring the bell that tells the kids it's time to come inside. The VIP also gives a "pass out treat" to all their classmates during the week. Nicholas chose to give each kid a mini Christmas coloring book, crayons, and a Christmas rubber ducky. I have to admit, being the VIP this time of year made finding an inexpensive pass out treat a bit easier. They also have a song sung about them, which has been in my head all week because he's been singing it to himself all week. It's a good thing being VIP only happens once a year! :)

Nicholas had input this year on his VIP board. I picked the photos but he picked the colors and the stickers to put on the board. Star Wars Legos were featured prominently.

Showing off his board to some friends on Monday

Oy! What a face!

I don't know if this is normal, but these boys sure do love each each other. They don't even have names anymore...they just call each other "bro". In their minds, they are brothers. It is very cute!
