Holiday Open House

I look forward to Benicia's annual Holiday Open House every year. First Street closes down to traffic, the merchants open their doors with apple cider, candy canes, and other sweet treats, and the giant tree at the very bottom of First is lit. You can find Santa at a few stops along the street. It is so fun now that both our kids are old enough to stay up later and enjoy the festiveness!

After a yummy sushi dinner we headed down the street. We bumped into our friends Lauri and Olivia. Olivia and Lexi enjoyed some cotton candy from Nana and Baba's office. Lexi also got to see Santa with Nana.

The three of us with Natalie Rose. Unfortunately Jeff couldn't join us. He was flying home from NYC while we strolled First Street.

In addition to walking with Baba we also walked First with Nicholas' friends, Mason and Merrick (and their parents and siblings)

We made it to the bottom of First Street around 8:30. The kids were hopped up on all kinds of sweet treats by now. Lexi crashed in the stroller before we could even make it to the car...the sign of a fun filled evening!
