After getting ready for the day we opened presents...a homemade card from Nicholas and Origins lotions from the kiddies and Jeff. Afterward, we packed up in the car and headed up to Calistoga (about an hour and fifteen minute drive from Benicia). We had a family picnic at August Briggs winery. My grandparents, my parents, my aunt's family, and my uncle's family all joined us. Unfortunately, the weather was dreary, with off and on showers, but the winery was very accommodating and put us up inside their fermenting wherehouse. We still had a nice view of the vineyard.
