There are two concrete slides at the Children's Playground. There is broken down cardboard lying all around the bottom of the slide that the kids can use. I remember doing this as a child too. Nicholas thought it was pretty fun.

A Day in Golden Gate Park
We took the day before Mother's Day to spend time together in the city. We made good use of our membership passes and went to the Academy of Sciences, since Jeff has never been. Nicholas was very excited to show his Daddy all the fish, and of course, his favorite, Claude, the white alligator. After lunch we went to the Children's Playground for some running around time. We also took a spin on the carousel. The kids had a great time, falling asleep on the car ride home. Mommy and Daddy had fun too.
