Busy Bees

Hello there! Long time, no blog...

The first part of 2008 has flown by. Nicholas has changed so much, even from my last blog. He is now walking at full speed, after a few weeks of the "Frankenstein walk". He eats like a horse and will try almost anything. His favorite foods right now are bananas (of course!), avocadoes, and tomatoes (strange, I know). His vocabulary is growing as well. He now says mama, dada, nana (for banana), cat (which sounds more like "ka"), more, no, and uh-oh. He is also becoming more affecionate. He gives Jeff and me hugs now when asked, which is nice.

The biggest change for our whole family is that we just bought our first home. We've spent the past week moving in. Our house closed at the end of February but we spent the past few weeks having some work down on the house before we moved in. Nicholas seems to love his new room. Well, it's the same room, but it is now bigger and has room for more of his toys. He is adjusting well to the move. He especially likes having hardwood floors...much easier to roll his trucks and trains on the carpet.

My hope is to post more frequently now that things should be settling down, but the life of a working mom sometimes makes it hard. Be sure to check back though...Nicholas has lots to share! Here are an assortment of pictures from the past few months.

I'm kind of worried that this kid is going to be bigger than me by the time he is 8.
