Goodybe 3's

N's b'day is rapidly approaching...in 2 days to be exact. Jeff and I are taking N to Disneyland to spend his 4th birthday (sans Lexi), but we wanted to make sure we had a chance to celebrate with my parents and Lexi before we left. My parents took N out for the day to Napa, where he went to a toy store and was able to pick out a present. That evening, we all went to Melo's for dinner (a pizza restaurant in Pleasant Hill...at N's request), and then we headed home for present opening and cake eating. N had a great day with Nana and Baba and is super excited to head to Anaheim on Monday.

Enjoy the pictures of the boy of a thousand faces! Nicholas has taken to being a total goof ball when it comes to pictures. If he'll let you take a picture of him, it usually involves a tongue sticking out or crazy eyes. Oy vey!

Sorry Jeff...I know you're not looking at the camera, but Lexi is too adorable to not post this pic

Nana and Baba's card sang the "Hot Dog" song from the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show.
N thought it was HILARIOUS!

Lexi liked the card too...I think we heard the "Hot Dog" song about 20 times during present opening.

This is the game Nicholas picked out at the toy store.

Grandma and Grandpa gave N money to spend at Disneyland. He's already said he'd like to get something related to Star Wars! Thanks G and G!

A book from Uncle Mike and Sharon. He enjoyed reading about the rainbow at bedtime last night! Thanks guys!

Pure shock and awe at our present! The Hoth Wampa cave from The Empire Strikes Back. N asked for it for Christmas.

Yes, I was crazy for getting it for him. It only took Jeff and N about an hour and half to put it together this morning. But, I got a sweet deal and he's loving it!

If you're around N on his b'day, you should know he HATES the birthday song. We sang it super quick, but this is still the reaction from him.

Blowing out the specialty cakes he picked from Sweetie Pies bakery in Napa.
They were oh so good!
