Last weekend Nicholas hosted a Halloween party for about 15 of his friends and their families. We decorated the house and yard, and made Halloween inspired snacks (jello jigglers in Halloween shapes, rice krispie treats in Halloween shapes, witches brew, etc). The kids all brought pumpkins, which we decorated with foam adhesive faces. They also did a ghost hunt (think Easter egg hunt but with tootsie pops dressed up like little ghosts). Lastly, the kids all got a chance to hit a pumpkin pinata. Of course the two year olds weren't strong enough to bust a pinata, so Jeff helped out with the pinata in the end. I think everyone had a really good time and it was fun for the kids to get in the Halloween spirit a little early.
